This is a fabulous book. Packed with routes and local natural history. A wealth of information.
Kevin is an old school ethical climber who met with multiple stakeholders to ensure that these climbs and routes were true to the beauty of the Dells. Also, thank you for keeping people from pooping in my yard.

It's important to understand that in addition to writing this guide book Kevin also envisioned, practiced and then bolted the majority of these 600+ climbs. And so this book starts with what makes the very best guides book so great first hand knowledge of the area and a true passion for the sport. Kevin has lived in the area for nearly 30 years and is a steward of this small but very unique park. It's written and photographed in a way that you can quickly orient yourself among the maze of domes that are the Granite Dells of Prescott Arizona. This place has it all some climbs only accessible by canoe or paddle board for out-of-water starts at Watson Lake, and some, like the cover photo, require a leap. The back cover showcases a full body chimney route that tops out on a pull-on-nothing face climb. There are also long crack climbs and hard face climbs, as well as 5.6 routes for beginners to practice their first trad lead. Kevin is an all star person and his book is the culmination of years of hard work. Do yourself a favor and visit Prescott Arizona to experience these climbs!
